Satao Safari Camp Flying Safari for 2 Days, 3 Days or more from Mombasa takes you to Tsavo East National Park to stay at Satao Safari Camp. At Satao, you enjoy watching a variety of game from the veranda of your tent, which is located directly facing the watering hole.

Each spacious tent has a private bathroom with running water. The hot water however is brought to the tents every evening by the camp staff. This enacts a feeling of true rural African village setting, which is very much enjoyed by visitors. Satao Camp Tsavo East tents form a semicircle around the waterhole; each tent is equipped with electricity from the camp generator.

Satao Camp Tsavo East restaurant is designed in the same unique African style, with thatched roofs overlooking the vast lush grassland. The chefs make the most of the fresh fruit and vegetables available locally to prepare delicious meals.

Dine in the open plan restaurant with meals freshly cooked on charcoal fires, and home baked bread prepared in special safari ovens. After dinner, join the other guests and relax around the campfire. Satao Camp treats you to unique rural African setting.

You will take morning and afternoon game drives with your driver to explore the area around the camp and to seek out the wildlife of Tsavo which includes a wide variety of species including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo, Beisa oryx, lesser kudu, hippo, zebra and giraffe. Tsavo is rich in bird life.
