Day 1 & 2 : Arusha Fly to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

After breakfast you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Manyara Airstrip. You will be met by a representative from Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for your road transfer, 2 hours, to the lodge.

Spend two nights at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Accommodation is in a sumptuous double suite. Each suite is tended by a butler. Your stay is on a fully inclusive basis including scheduled activities and park fees.

Activities include one game-drive safari on the Crater floor and a visit to a Masai village (Visit to the Masai Village are subject availability of vehicles). Additional activities may be booked directly at the lodge, subject to extra cost and availability of vehicles.

Such activities include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shifting Sands, and walks at Empakai Crater. Massages are offered for those who need to relax after a day's game-viewing.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara & Fly to Arusha - Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. On arrival at 12:45 you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport where our services end.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. It lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometers (3100 square miles) of pristine African wilderness.

Inspired in design by the Masai mud-and-stick Manyatta (homestead), Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa.

Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera of the once-volcanic Ngorongoro shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake.

Nearby Olduvai Gorge – a famous early archaeological site – is situated to the west of the Crater in the eastern Serengeti Plains. In the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, 60,000 Masai live and herd their livestock in harmony with Africa’s wild animals.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge can provide some of the best game viewing drives into the crater and Ngorongoro Conservation Area that East Africa can offer. Bush walks around the lodge are also available, as well as excursions to Olduvai Gorge.
