Conservancy Areas
On
the eastern flank of the great Masai Mara eco system
this 50,000 acre conservancy provides a new level of
conservation to the region. Based on a shared philosophy
between Rekero and Asilia, together we have embarked
on a mission to play an active role in protecting the
conservancy while at the same time delivering a tourism
experience unlike any other.
Naboisho
Camp Masai Mara
is the result of that collective vision and through
it Asilia is able to offer guests the chance to experience
this prime wilderness on their own terms.

Activities
The
private concession of Naboisho conservancy by its nature
allows for a wide range of great activities to be carried
out. The range of options is very much dictated by this
wilderness and we seek to explore it in a deep but sensitive
manner.
Along
with traditional activities such as game driving (including
off road which is very rare in the eco system) guests
can also night game drive to see some the nocturnal
animals the region is well known for. There is also
the chance to do walking safaris with a Masai guide
who will take you through the land that he grew up on.
The
conservancy is a partnership with the community and
so offers cultural activities that are both genuine
and
rewarding
to both host and guest. Fly camping will also be possible
and is a wonderful way to explore, up close and personal,
some of the more remote corners of this wilderness.
Access
to Naboisho
Camp Masai Mara
Currently,
the nearest airstrip is Ol Kiombo, which takes daily
scheduled flights of multiple operators. Transfers between
camp and airstrip will take around 1 hour 15 minutes.
A new airstrip is planned on the border between the
Naboisho and Olare Orok conservancies.
This
airstrip will start to take daily flights and will only
be 30 minutes away from Naboisho Camp. Date of opening
of this new airstrip will be announced soonest.
