Mara Simba Lodge; Mara Simba Lodge is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve along Talek River, a tributary of the Mara River, 325 kilometers from Nairobi. Mara Simba Lodge is between Sekenani and Talek Gates and just 40 minutes by air from Nairobi Wilson Airport or 5 hours drive from Nairobi City.

Stretching almost a kilometer along the river the grounds on the bank remain in their virgin condition, while the landscaped gardens filled with indigenous trees at the back draw a great variety of birds and butterflies.

Mara Simba Lodge was conceived with an emphasis on exclusivity and comfort. It was designed to complement its surroundings and is decorated in Maasai traditional style. Wide, well-lit pathways connect the Public areas and rooms.

Mara Simba Lodge accommodation consists of 84 quality rooms. Included in these are various super luxurious double and even triple suites, as well as twin bedded rooms, all depending on the size of your party. All rooms are fully equipped with large en suite bathrooms with both baths and showers.

All the suites have private verandas, where a spare bed can always be added, with breathtakingly serene Talek river views, as well as 24 hour room service, all for your satisfaction. Days at the Mara Simba Lodge can be spent going out on 4x4 safari van game drives to view Africa’s notorious and treasured 'Big Five' and the rare black-maned lion in particular.

The perfect time to visit this lodge would be from August to November, when you can witness the annual migration of thousands of zebra, topi and wildebeest, as they hurry along the Serengeti plains.
