Kivulini Beach House Diani is a unique family home right on Diani Beach, a 25 mile white sand paradise on the South Coast of Kenya. Ukunda air strip is about 5 Minutes drive from the house. Diani is about an hour's drive to Mombasa.

Kivulini Beach House Diani has four air-conditioned double bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms and two with a shared bathroom, sleeping a total of eight people. All the bedrooms have either sea views or views of the surrounding coconut grove garden.

There are also two baby cots available on request. Kivulini Beach House has four separate living areas so you can always find a quite spot away from it all.

There is an inside sitting room with a bar, small library, and chess set, a sheltered living area which is also our dining area with sea views, an outside terrace area overlooking the sea with a hammock, protected by a thatched Makuti roof and a roof top terrace with magnificent views of the sea through the coconut tree tops.

Kivulini Beach House Diani is decorated for comfort and relaxation, with traditional Coastal style Lamu furniture and local fabrics, and is run by 5 staff.

In addition to the main house there are two small overflow cottages on the property. These cottages, located just beside the main house, have double beds and en suite bathrooms. They are only rented in addition to a rental of the main house.

The gardens surrounding the house have a natural beauty and are full of wildlife. Apart from the birds and occasional chameleons, we have monitor lizards living in the " bundu" at the back of the house and we share our front garden with a number of visiting Vervet and Sykes monkeys, and the shy Colobus monkey, a protected species.

Kivulini - meaning 'a shady place' in Swahili - is a small paradise and no one has visited without falling in love with it.
