Hogmead is located on Kikenni Road, Mukoma Estate, Langata, Nairobi on ten acres of private land abutting the Giraffe Sanctuary and looking onto the Ngong Hills made famous in Karen Blixen's Out of Africa.

The name, Hogmead, alludes to the many warthogs who frequent the gardens with their small piglets, as well as 'mead' from the drink traditionally enjoyed on a honeymoon! The name is very appropriate for this property.
