Detailed Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi Arrival
Upon arrival in Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after clearing with customs and immigration, you will be met by your 'Spice' Safari Director/Driver guide at the arrival area who will transfer you to your city hotel.

Day 2

Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast you begin your day with safari briefing on all the adventures ahead of you. Today’s tour starts with city tour, visit to the National Museum, You will learn history of Africa culture, cradle of mankind and countless wonders of the natural world, then visit to the Giraffe Centre where you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Rothschild giraffe. After lunch, we drive to Wilson Airport for our afternoon scheduled flight to Masai Mara; we fly over the Great Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara. This is the real Africa you have always imagined, home to astonishing number of animals (depending on the season), the umbrella shaped trees and the beautiful sun set, the winding Mara River and the rugged Ololoolo Escarpment. A game drive has been planned for this afternoon.

Day 3

Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You are woken up by your room steward, with a steaming cup of Kenyan coffee, tea or a cup of hot chocolate before you depart for a romantic hot air balloon (depending on the weather). This is a once in a life time experience. There are breath taking views of the winding Mara River filled with Hippos and Crocodiles and the wild animals dotting the Mara planes. Once you are up, you won’t want to come down again, but once you are down Champagne breakfast awaits for you in the wild. Short game drive en route back to the camp. This afternoon is left at your leisure either at the camp or an afternoon game drive. A candle lit dinner for two is served on your tent’s deck.

Day 4

Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Today you have the choice of sleeping or taking a morning game drive. In the Afternoon, we will first visit a Maasai village and then make a choice between a bush walk and a game drive. The day ends with a sundowner just for you at the banks of the Mara River. Here you watch the yawning hippos and yonder at the orange African sunset over the Ololoolo escarpment.

Days 5, 6 & 7

Mombasa Island
Fly from Masai Mara and connect to your afternoon flight to Mombasa. The perfect destination to relax under the tropical sun and the coconut palm trees. Here you have lots of options like visit the National Museum, sunbathing on the beautiful beaches, visit the Marine Parks, participating in the various water sports, snorkeling, Buccaneer diving, touring Mombasa town as well as shopping.

Day 8

Mombasa – Fly Nairobi – Depart
After lunch today, you will leave Mombasa and connect in Nairobi for your international flight home. By the time you leave Kenya, your once in a life time dream will have come true.
