Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge is situated on ‘Mlima ya Simba’ (Swahili for lion hill), and adjoining the world-famous Tsavo East National Park at Voi Gate. The lodge is a 4-hour drive from Nairobi and a 2-hour drive from Mombasa.
The lodge is located on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park. The small lodge sits on a hill, with views of the famous Tsavo East, it is an ideal setting for the renowned scenery and wildlife of Tsavo.
Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge has 8 guestrooms and 4 guest tents. The guestrooms have solid construction yet they retain the rural feel. Each guestroom has double or twin beds, a mosquito net, and a work desk. The bathrooms are en-suite with flush toilets.

Guests can enjoy their meals in the dining area which overlooks the panorama of the Tsavo East National Park. The well-stocked bar also has views of the park and serves a wide selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Tsavo East National Park Wildlife highlights: Larger mammals include lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino, hippo, giraffe, lesser kudu, oryx, Cape buffalo, zebra, yellow baboon, waterbuck, gemsbok, Coke’s hartebeest, gerenuk, and gazelle. Birds: The prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
