5 Days 4 Nights Bwindi Forest Gorilla Trekking Tour & Lake Bunyonyi Island Holiday (Driving) From Kampala, Uganda
This 5 Day Uganda Holiday combines a trekking experience at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to see the Mountain Gorilla with some downtime and relaxation at the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Begining from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, we drive southwest to Mbarara where we have lunch at a motel, and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. On day two we go for the gorilla trek. We spend some time with the endangered African mountain gorillas. Our intimate gorilla encounter gives you the chance to watch the gorillas go about their daily activities. We observe the mountain gorillas feeding, dozing off, and interacting with each other on the forest floor – an extraordinary wildlife experience. After our once-in-a-lifetime gorilla experience in the wild hills and valleys of Bwindi Park, we return to our accommodations. On day three, we say farewell to the impenetrable forest and head to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is a popular location for water sports and a favorite destination for birders. This 5 day Uganda tour combines a classic African safari to see plains game sweeping across huge savannahs of Lake Mburo National Park, with the unique chance to track chimpanzees through the forest of Kibale National Park. The trip begins and ends in Kampala, Uganda’s bustling capital and economic hub, the tour safari sets off to Queen Elizabeth National Park – the top wildlife destination in Uganda, known for its excellent game viewing. Day two begins with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park, exploring the area along Kasenyi and Queens Mile.
