Mara Eden Safari Camp

Mara Eden Safari Camp is a small boutique camp nestled in a lush Garden of Eden inside the Masai Mara National Reserve, right by an oxbow bend on the mighty Mara River. Nairobi is approximately 280 km from Masai Mara and it usually takes around 5-6 hours by road while flying time takes approximately 45 minutes.  

Hidden deep in the Maasai Mara game reserve, along the great Mara River, lies a magical, untouched, and untamed valley with crocodiles basking on the banks of the river and hippos fighting for dominance against a backdrop of absolute wilderness, for centuries the great wildebeest migration has thundered through this hidden valley and crossed the Mara River.

Nestled in the midst of this valley is this little boutique tented camp, sit out on the verandah and watch the magic of the African wilderness unfold before you. We invite you to be a part of this untamed bit of Africa!

Mara Eden Safari Camp has 10 luxury tents all placed along the banks of the Mara River and fitted with tea/coffee-making facilities and a furnished verandah for the relaxed game and bird viewing. The bathrooms are en-suite with hot and cold running water and flush toilets. The tents are adorned with traditionally painted African masks and contrasting throw rugs.

There is a dining tent that is centrally located and has a dining area that can seat 30 guests. The lounge area has a fully stocked bar. Guests can relax in the sofa lounge with a book or warm up around the campfire that is lit in the evenings or order cocktails from their bar as the sun goes down

Mara Eden Safari Camp Kenya has a plunge pool where guests can swim and relax with a drink and enjoy a view of the Mara River. Guests can also relax in the bush spa where they can get a soothing massage while overlooking the plains of the Mara.

The Masai Mara is one of the best-known reserves in the whole of Africa. It is globally renowned for its exceptional wildlife. More than 40% of Africa’s larger mammals are found here. Across the vast plains of the Mara, visitors are able to witness lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and an infinite variety of other species in their natural habitats.

Mara Eden Safari Camp activities include game drives, hot air balloon safaris, swimming, massage and spa, bush lunches, and dinners.
