Malindi Day Tour Malindi Marine Park Sardegna 2 Island offers you a chance to spend a day exploring the white sands and crystal clear waters of Kenya’s Northern Coast. Snorkel amongst the incredible underwater life including coral, turtles, and schools of fish at Malindi Marine Park. Later savor a delicious seafood BBQ on the beach.

at 0700 Hours, we depart from your hotel and head to the Malindi Marine Park. Once there, we will board a glass boat to Sardegna 2 Island. Magic cannot begin to describe the beauty of Sardegna2 Island, the Serene, and calmness and amazing white sand and crystal clear waters make it one of the most amazing places to visit on the North coast. The captain/ guide begins by sailing you to the Malindi Marine Park where you will get to see and learn more about the coral reef and its marine species and also how it provides critical nesting sites for sea turtles, including loggerhead, green, olive ridley and hawksbill.

The two most popular activities in the park are both diving and snorkeling, the clarity and quality of the water and underwater life make Malindi-Watamu Marine Parks one of the top underworld destinations in East Africa for scuba divers. Here you will get a chance to jump into the ocean and your guide will provide snookering equipment, enjoy the beautiful coral gardens underwater, and swim with large schools of fish.

Once you dock, you will be allowed to get off the boat and deep yourself into the crystal clear waters and white clean sand underneath. The captain and his crew will start grilling fresh seafood right there on the island with quite a variety of prawns, lobster, and Barracuda fish accompanied with rice and curry.

at about 1300 Hours, lunch will be served on the boat. After Lunch, you can choose to swim on the shallow calm waters before the tides come back and swallow the island. If the tide is high the captain will then have another option of docking on the beautiful shore or the serene Safina beach bar and grill, and you can just relax on the sun beds while enjoying the sea breeze and the beautiful view of the island from a distance. There is a beach bar so you can quench your thirst with a glass of juice or a bottle of beer (at your own cost).

After relaxing and basking on the white sandy beach, at around 1600 Hours, we will start heading back to Malindi Marine Park where your driver/guide will be waiting for you. Board the vehicle and start driving back to your hotel or desired drop-off point in time for dinner.

NOTE: The itinerary of this trip depends on sea tides, if the tides are low the itinerary will go as described above, but if it’s high tide you will first go to the island and then finish with a Marine park tour and snorkeling.
