Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club

0800 Hours: Depart in the morning for the exclusive Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club. This club was founded by Hollywood star William Holden going back several decades and is now a Fairmont hotel property.

Along the way, you will stop at the Equator in Nanyuki where you can take pictures, and watch the demonstration of water running clockwise and counter-clockwise on either side of the equator.

1300 Hours: Arrive at the hotel check-in and proceed for a sumptuous buffet lunch. The rest of the day is at leisure.

The Club offers several activities such as golf, horse riding and nature hikes.

1930 Hours: Enjoy a formal set-menu dinner in the evening.

Day 2: Mount Kenya Safari Club – Drive to Sweetwaters – Proceed to Nairobi

0700 Hours: After breakfast at the club proceed by road to Sweetwaters/ Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary for the ultimate wildlife viewing experience!

Experience close-up viewing of the Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo – as well as multitudes of other wildlife from the comfort of your vehicle.

1000 Hours: visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary – the only place in Kenya where this highly endangered and remarkably intelligent species can be seen!

After visiting Baraka, the tame black rhino. Baraka is a major attraction at the Morani Information Center. Enjoy a game drive in the park where one could see giraffes, zebra, elephants, buffalo, warthog, waterbucks, hartebeest, lion, cheetah, leopard, gazelle and Impala.

Over 500 species of birds have been recorded including the Ostrich.

1300 Hours: Enjoy Lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp

1400 Hours: Depart by road back to Nairobi
