Chaka Ranch Tented Camp

Chaka Ranch Tented Camp is a tented accommodation located in Kiganjo in Nyeri between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares mountain ranges.  It takes about 2 hours to drive from Nairobi to the Camp. Mt Kenya National Park is 43 kilometers away from the Camp.

The accommodation is located in the Chaka Ranch Park, an entertainment facility open daily including public holidays. The leisure park is a beautiful and intimate haven for outdoor lovers, set on an expansive space between the breathtaking views of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare mountain range.

Chaka Ranch also boasts a unique outdoor entertainment facility comprising the biggest and widest collection of quad bikes and buggies in Kenya.   There are 12 luxury tents in an intimate and exclusive environment. The tented camp is within walking distance of the famous Chaka Ranch Leisure Park. The tents are on a raised stone deck and feature en-suite bathrooms and furnished verandahs.

Chaka Ranch has an ample seating area and a great selection of food options (including Nyama Choma) for visitors and their families. They also have an unwinding area, the Polaris Sports bar where guests can catch the latest on Football and Motor Sport

The ranch has ample ground for team building or corporate events for small and large groups, as well as group play for friends.  The guests will participate in various activities, master new skills, conquer a challenge and even beat the clock.

The park features a 2-kilometer-long challenging race track, where adrenaline seekers can race against a clock/timer and battle for honors on a live online leaderboard highlighting the ratings and names of participants on the racing track.

Chaka Ranch Tented Camp activities available include; obstacle races, climbing towers, bubble soccer, shoot out, wipe out, skating and paintball activities, and quad bikes and buggies offering exciting rides for all ages. There are activities for young children like trampolines, slides, bouncing castles, see-saw, merry-go-rounds, and chow-chow trains.

* Children of 3-12 years in their own room – 75% of the applicable room rate
* Children of 5-12 years sharing with parents – 50% of the applicable room rate
* Children sharing (deluxe rooms) – 85% of sharing occupancy rate(maximum 3 children per room)
* Children sharing (Standard and Superior Rooms)75% of sharing occupancy rate. Maximum 3 children per room
* Child sharing with adult 50% of sharing occupancy rate. Maximum 2 children per room i.e. 1 adult and 2 children
* Maximum 2 children under 3 yrs per room/booking,  4,500 Kenya Shillings charges apply per extra child below the set limit of 2 children below the age of 3 years
