This 6-day classic road safari begins and ends in Nairobi, and encompasses a round trip by road through 3 of Kenya’s iconic and game-rich areas: Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara National Reserve.
This road trip begins in Nairobi, travels to Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya, and continues to Lake Nakuru National Park in central Kenya. End off with 4×4 game drives in what is arguably the finest wildlife viewing destination in Africa – the Masai Mara National Reserve.
The itinerary for this tour includes 2 nights in Samburu National Reserve, 1 night at Lake Nakuru National Park, and 2 nights in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Begin in the magnificent Samburu Reserve, famed for its spectacular scenery of open plains bisected by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which is a lifeline for a multitude of games.
Continue to Nakuru National Park, one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for the Flamingos, both lesser and greater, that flock to its shores. The Park is one of the best places in Kenya to see Leopard and, as it is a Rhino sanctuary, one of the places to see the Big Four.
Leopards are elusive, so sightings are not guaranteed, but you may just come across one lounging on a branch. The Park is also a sanctuary for the rare Rothschild Giraffe. After exploring the Great Rift Valley, we drive to the famed Masai Mara National Reserve.
The Masai Mara is a unique wildlife conservation haven, famous for its spectacular natural diversity, and it is a premier Kenya Safari destination in East Africa, offering visitors many reasons to visit this animal paradise.
Large numbers of Lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, African buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, and many more animals are found here in their natural habitat, unconfined and free to roam the vast wilderness stretching for miles on end.
For six thrilling days, you and your family or closest friends will be in your own private 4×4 with an expert driver to guide you through the wilds of Africa. Set out at your own pace and linger at a rhino grazing peacefully with her calf, or at a particularly spectacular sunset as the acacia trees are lit in an unforgettable rosy-gold light.
