Rhino Watch Safari Lodge Mweiga

Rhino Watch Safari Lodge Mweiga is located in a natural paradise of 30 hectares in heart of Kenya’s peaceful Kikuyu area in Mweiga, Nyeri within the Mt. Kenya region and with a beautiful view of Mt Kenya.

The lodge is located 6 km from Mweiga Town, 2.8 km from Solio Game Reserve, and 17.5 km from Baden-Powell Museum.

Rhino Watch Safari Lodge has 7 luxury chalets 2 of them being family chalets and 8 luxury tents 1 them being a family tent. All the chalets/ tents feature terraces with mountain views and en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, washstands, and flush toilets.

Each chalet has tea/coffee-making facilities, a tile/ marble floor with carpets, a mosquito net, clothes rack, and a closet. All the Tents have been tastefully decorated in the African style and have work desks, clothes racks, and outdoor furniture.

Other Facilities available at the lodge include; a gift shop, Free Wi-Fi, Wardrobe, Babysitting, Children’s play corner, a Honeymoon portfolio, and Special dietary needs catered for with advance notification.

Rhino Watch Safari Lodge Mweiga has an onsite restaurant that serves continental and African dishes prepared by renowned chefs. Guests can relax in the lounge area or in the well-stocked bar which offers a variety of beverages, choice wines, and liquors. There is also a library, which also has a small bar and veranda.

This seating area is surrounded by blooming flowers and bushes and is an ideal location to enjoy some refreshments.

The lodge has a conference room that can accommodate small seminar groups. This room can also be used as an excellent facility for yoga or meditation groups. The lodge has a small Spa facility with a Sauna, Jacuzzi, and massage room where guests can get some relaxing massages after a long Safari day.

Activities in the Rhino Watch Safari Lodge Mweiga include; bird watching, horse riding, giraffe walking, climbing Mt. Kenya, biking, kayaking, fishing, Aberdare National park hike, and Game drives at Solio game Reserve, Aberdare National park and Olpejeta.
