Nyumbu Camp Mara Information

Though Nyumbu Camp Masai Mara lies in the un spoilt heart of the great Mara, you won't need to "rough it" during your stay.

Your comfort will be catered for with real beds, a well-stocked bar, and a dedicated dining area with experienced chefs. The camp has solar lights, and chargers for your batteries. Every comment in our guest book praises Nyumbu Camp for its great service and great food.

Nyumbu Camp Masai Mara is intimate and completely unfenced, accommodating a maximum of only 32 guests under Canvas - medium sized, fully equipped insect-proof custom designed tents. Bathrooms are en-suite and are equipped with Hot shower and flushing toilets. The camp is fully hosted by trained professionals from local community.

Nyumbu Camp Masai Mara has medium sized, fully insect-proof custom designed tents (13) equipped with proper bed, linen, bedside tables and rugs. Bathrooms are en suite and are equipped with hot-shower and eco-toilet. The tents have either twin or double beds with an en suite eco-friendly toilet and veranda.

There is also a hot shower system, solar lights, fresh, wholesome high quality food, laundry service (at minimum cost) and a private charter available on request. There is inverter system off the generator (Batteries can also be charged on this system) and our refrigeration uses gas.

Nyumbu Camp Masai Mara has a wide variety of exciting activities including game viewing drives in safari equipped vehicles, bush picnics, sundowners, & bush breakfast, nature Trail walks, day-long hikes, revealing stunning views; under the guidance of trained Masai guides, Cultural visits to local Masai Manyatta, hot-Air Balloon Safari, flight to Rusinga Island, Lake Victoria, for fishing and bird watching and camp fire evenings.
