Milele Resort Presbyterian Guest House Nakuru is a Christian based hotel and a Non alcoholic place founded by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. Milele Resort Hotel Nakuru opened December 2009.

The hotel is located in a quiet environment just a 200 metres from Nakuru town centre on your way to the Provincial General hospital next to Crater Montessori Academy in Milimani estate along Showground Road.

The Hotel is 2 kilometers north of the famous Lake Nakuru National park and 2 kilometers south of the Menengai Crater. Milele Resort Hotel Nakuru has over 56 rooms with a capacity of over 100 beds.

All rooms are self contained with Dstv satellite T.V. The 56 rooms are available in Singles, Doubles, Triples and Executive suites. All rooms have T.V sets connected with DSTV Satellite dish with a standby generator.

Thompson's Falls

Thomson's Falls is a 74 metre (243 ft) scenic waterfall at the Ewaso Narok river, which drains from the Aberdare Mountain Range. It is situated near the town Nyahururu in central Kenya, at 2,360 m (7,750 ft). Discovered in 1883 by Joseph Thomson, a Scottish geologist and naturalist who was the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880s.

The mist feeds the dense forest below. Visitors can view the falls from above, or there's a trail down to the bottom of the ravine. Upstream from the falls is one of the highest hippo pools in Kenya being the world-famous Thomson's Falls situated next to one of Kenya's highest towns, Nyahururu.

Placed at 2360 m above the sea level, the falls descends a 72m cliff creating mist that feeds the dense forest below. This is a weekend destination for tour lovers to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the ravine

Menengai Crater

Menengai Crater is a massive shield volcano inside one of the biggest calderas in the world, located in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya. Farmland occupies its flanks. Menengai is located 10 km (6 mi) northeast of Nakuru, the third-biggest city in Kenya.

At Menengai Crater in Nakuru, Kenya, curious tourists are drawn to a controversial cave. The site offers excellent hiking opportunity, scenic site, hot springs, geysers, mud pots among others. Its one of the largest calderas of the world and the largest of Kenya, is a extinct volcano of the Central Rift Valley (it has been volcanically active until relatively recently as fresh lava flow could be observed in 1991).

The crater, covering an area of 90 sq. km, is 12 km in diameter and 485 m deep and its lavas are trachytes and obsidian. At the summit of the crater (2,278 m - 7,474 ft.), which is easily accessible by car, there is a signpost dressed by Rotary Club of Nakuru showing the directions and distances to several towns in the world.

Lord Egerton's Castle

Its a place to relax and enjoy all the games in the compound. One can learn about Lord Egerton, a colonialist who build the castle to please his fiancee but he did not succeed as he was rejected...What a waste!!! She wanted more wealth and more pleasing. He therefore never married and hated women all his life.

It is told that he treated the dogs better than the women and women lived in fear within the farm. What a story!!! All this can be retold by a guide within the premises, therefore you won't have to do the guessing alot or none.

Five kilometres northwest of Nakuru town in the Ngata area of Njoro stands one of Kenya’s most remarkable buildings, a castle no less. The 52-room Lord Egerton Castle is a monument to failure, to a romance that was never to be.

Hell's Gate National Park

Hell's Gate National Park, near Lake Naivasha, and just 110kms from Nairobi, covers an area of approx 70 sq km. Famous for its hot natural geysers, spectacular looming cliffs and the "Hells Gate Gorge", the park is one of few in Kenya where walking and cycling is allowed.

Visitors here may also camp at designated camp sites. Activities in this park also include rockclimbing, bird and game viewing. Sites of particular interest include Fischer's Tower, formerly a volcano's plug, the Central Tower and Njorowa Gorges, Olkaria and Hobley's which are two extinct volcanos.

The wildlife here mainly includes the herbivores such as buffalo, giraffe and the antelope/gazelle family. Hells gate is an ornithologists paradise with over 103 species of bird recorded.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area.

The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
