Lake Mburo National Park Day Trip From Kampala is a very popular Uganda one day tour to Lake Mburo National Park situated along the Kampala–Mbarara highway. Departure time from Kampala is usually in the morning at 0600 Hours.

Along the way you make a brief stop at the equator for photographs. The park has dotted acacia trees and numerous lakes surrounded by swamps providing habitat for water birds and wildlife. Impala, Zebras (home for thousands of Burchell's Zebras), Buffaloes, Topi and Klipspringer are common sight in this park.

A boat ride combined with a game drive offer an excellent way to enjoy the flora and fauna in the park. Antelopes commonly seen include: Topi, Bushbuck, Common Duiker, Oribi, Defassa Waterbuck, Bohor Reedbuck. Other animals include Buffalos, Warthogs, Bush-pigs and Hippopotamus amongst others.
