Arusha Coffee Lodge is strategically located 9 km (5½ miles) on the western edge of Arusha city, the second-largest city in Tanzania after the capital Dar-es-Salaam. The lodge is just 5 minutes or 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Arusha Airport, where there are regular flights to the Northern Safari destinations frequented by most visitors.

These include the outstanding Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater – both renowned for containing masses of African animals). Arusha Coffee Lodge has 20 private accommodation chalets, built on raised wooden platforms, each with luxury facilities for the discerning visitor. The rooms have a mixture of 10 twin and 8 double beds, with mosquito netting hanging from a spacious wooden frame.

The décor is earth colors which is the concept used in plantation houses, fireplaces, wooden floors, low lighting, and woven floor rugs. Arusha Coffee Lodge bathroom is spacious, with a basin, bathtub, shower, hairdryer, and bathrobe. The driveway has lavender bushes giving a lovely fragrance. The specially designed pond sits between the reception and the pub, designed with mosaic tiles and a centerpiece made with glass depicting a water lily. The lodge’s main dining room is next to the lounge and carries the same theme and décor. It is spacious and airy and glass windows let in a lot of light looking onto the pond and gardens.

Gives the restaurant a pleasant atmosphere during the day, and at night, the soft furnishings, and lighting, give it a relaxing, warm atmosphere. The terrace and individual dining decks extend from the main dining room, a pleasant outdoor dining experience, and a pizza oven to add on to a simple and refreshing a la carte menu.

Arusha Coffee Lodge lounge is a warm area with comfortable leather sofas, elegantly furnished, dim lights, brick walls, and wooden floors. A fireplace lends it a cozy atmosphere. Accommodation is in 18 plantation houses – designed around the original houses, lavishly furnished with a split level, fireplace, and spacious verandah.
