Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya Safari Club (Nanyuki)

This morning after breakfast we depart by road to the famous Mount Kenya Safari Club situated on the foothills of Mt. Kenya, bordering the Mt. Kenya National Park, 10 Kilometers from Nanyuki Town and 220 Kilometers from Nairobi. The driving time is approximately 3½ hours.

Mount Kenya Safari Club membership includes a host of movie stars, politicians and aristocrats. Here you can have a day of total relaxation in the splendid landscaped surroundings with magnificent views of majestic Mount Kenya.

Available activities here include horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage and much more.

Day 2: Mount Kenya Safari Club – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart the Club after breakfast and drive around the Aberdare Mountains stopping briefly at the Thompson's Falls. Continue to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch and then later enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is a bird watchers paradise and is known as the world famous bird spectacle on earth - myriads of fuschia pink flamingoes whose numbers are legion, often more than a million maybe two. They feed on the abundant algae, which thrives in the warm waters.

Scientists reckon that the flamingo population at Nakuru consumes about 250,000 kilos of algae per hectare of surface area per year.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your lodge then depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Check in at Masai Mara Sopa lodge or similar and lunch follows.

Our afternoon game drive in this famous reserve reveals wonders. Animals present include: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino etc.

Day 4: Explore the Masai Mara National Reserve

Today we enjoy an early morning game drive then return to our lodge for a full sit-down English breakfast. Alternatively we can spend the day in the park in search of predators and their prey like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe etc. We have lunch at one of the nearby Lodge or camp.

We shall also have an opportunity to see Hippo and Crocodiles found in the Mara River.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Drive to Nairobi
