Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park & Reserve lies in south coast about 11 km off the Kenyan Coast (at Shimoni) and 8 km north of the Tanzanian boarder in Kwale District, Coast Province.

Distance from Mombasa: 90 kms. Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park  covers 11 square km and the Park can only be reached by boat.

Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park & Reserve is one of the most rewarding snorkelling locations at the coast. Visitors can also enjoy bird watching, diving and of course, sunbathing.

Two dives will be done in the morning, giving you a chance to enjoy a sumptuous late lunch. We offer a number of diving sites in the marine park, one of the best diving sites in East Africa and a very safe place, free of sharks.

Outer Kisite: Diving at 5 to 12 meters, this is a great spot to watch different species of fish within one reef system. Offers a Shallow, long and relaxed dive.

There is a good chance to see: turtles, morays, lobsters, rays, pipe fish and dolphins.

Dolphin Point: Diving at 3 to 12 meters, this dive site owes its name to the playful dolphins. Many divers are lucky enough to spend their time with here.

Inner Kisite: The shallower end of Outer Kisite – maximum 5 meters is a great spot for beginners and for refresh dives. There is a good chance to spot turtles, crocodile fish and trigger fish.

Coral Garden/ Pink Reef: Diving at 8 to 15 meters this site is known for the pink variety of soft coral. It also hosts a large variety of tropical fish.

Diving sited next to Wasini Island (Nyuli): Perfect for deep dive, the reef begins at 27 meters.

Famous for its larger predatory fish:  groups of Barracuda, Trevally, and blue striped Snapper. Leopard sharks, Napoleon wrasse, Shovel Nose Rays and huge Groupers.

You need to do this dive more than once to see everything.
