Chyulu Hills National Park 2 Days 1 Night Flying Safari is a luxury overnight flying safari from Nairobi to Chyulu Hills National Park. Chyulu Hills National Park is tucked away between Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park and boasts striking and diverse landscapes.
The Chyulu hills national park are green rolling hills situated in eastern Kenya, the scenic spectacular hills provide excellent views of nature and wildlife. It’s tucked away between Tsavo and Amboseli national park and Tsavo national park it’s also one of the best places to view Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro, it’s also the largest larva in the world.
The park is 1 hour by private charter from Nairobi and has an airstrip. A myriad choice of activities is available to explore while at Chyulu Hills National Park. These include breathtaking views from horse riding, camping, mountain biking, cultural experience, hiking Chyulu hills, exploring the local caves, local school, and clinic visits, escorted bush walks, bush breakfast, bush lunch, and bush dinner.
Other activities to enjoy include bird watching, Masai cultural village visits, and safari wildlife game drives. Air transfers are offered also from Malindi, Mombasa, Taveta, and Namanga. The drive from Nairobi is about 6 hours. (We suggest flying versus driving).

Safari Itinerary in Detail
Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Tsavo Chyulu Hills
0600 Hours: After Breakfast, we transfer to Wilson airport for our scheduled flight to Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip in the Chyulu Hills.
0730 Hours: Our flight from Wilson airport departs for Tsavo West National Park.
0820 Hours: Upon arrival at Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip in the Chyulu Hills, we proceed for a game drive south towards Kilimanjaro into the magnificent Chyulu Hills on the southern border of Tsavo West National Park.
1200 Hours: You will arrive at your accommodations at Campi Ya Kanzi or Ol Donyo Lodge. The area offers incredible views of Kilimanjaro, (famed for its ‘red’ elephants and of course the legendary “man-eaters”).
1500 Hours: We depart for the afternoon game drive in open 4×4 safari vehicles with professional guides. There are over 600 species of birdlife in this area. Other available activities include escorted game walks, forest walks, bird watching, Masai Village visits, Bush breakfasts, and Bush Dinners.

Day 2: Tsavo Chyulu Hills – Fly Nairobi
0600 Hours: This morning you may want to sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast or explore the park on an early morning game drive. Wildlife is likely to see you include; leopard cheetah, buffalo, rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, lion, oryx, eland, and other plains game.
There are also crocodiles and small mammals like mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, and the nocturnal porcupine.
1200 Hours: Later we have lunch and then some rest time before we transfer you to board the scheduled flight to Nairobi.
1500 Hours: Your flight departs Ol Donyo Lodge airstrip in the Chyulu Hills for Nairobi.
1615 Hours: Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel or residence.
