Cheetah Tented Camp Masai Mara

Cheetah Tented Camp is an exclusive luxury safari camp situated on the banks of the Mara River in the Mara North Conservancy,  on the Oloololo escarpment in the Great Rift Valley. The camp is placed in the heart of the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, where most of animal documentaries within the African continent have been shot.

The flight from Mombasa to Masai Mara is 2.5 hours and from Nairobi, the flying time is only 45 minutes. The camp is about 3 hours from Nairobi by road.

Guests enjoy the purest African nature in an environment of great luxury and comfort on the banks of the famous Mara River, where the great wildebeest migration takes place from June to December. This spectacle is one of the wonders of the world.

Cheetah Tented Camp Masai Mara has 2 luxury river tents overlooking the Mara river, luxury Mara river tent & suite Mara river tent. All rooms are equipped with king size bed with two double beds, elegant hand carved solid wood furniture and full bathrooms. A WI-FI signal is also transmitted to all terrace, restaurant and suites.

The tents feature private verandahs, en-suite bathrooms with shower and flush toilet, wood floors, relaxing beds and smaller furnishings to create a homely atmosphere.

The larger suite can accommodate up to 5 guests and features four-poster bed center, a small round table with chairs for in-room dining, playing board games, writing, en-suite bathroom features a double-sink vanity with mirror, shower and flush toilet and a private verandah with seats.

Meals at the camp are freshly prepared by the camp’s head chef, offering buffet lunches and set a la carte dinners and the guests can enjoy their meals in the dining tent. The camp chef will also ensure that picnic meals are readily available for all those who prefer to stay out in the bush all day long.

Alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks are also served. There is a study room with a variety of literature to peruse and read. The room has tables and seats that can be used for small meetings and seminars.

Cheetah Tented Camp Masai Mara activities include; game drives, safari walks, village visits, picnics, bush breakfasts, sunset cocktails and balloon safaris.
