Day 1: Nairobi – Drive to Masai Mara National Park

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves.

The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch.

Enjoy an afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds.

Day 2: Explore Masai Mara National Park

Full day  dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill.

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs.

During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Park – Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up for an early game drive, then return later to the lodge for breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park.After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon.

The game in this park is plentiful and the magnificent bird watching will make a devotee out of even the most reluctant.

The Park is a home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch.

The bird life here is world renowned and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork.

It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Drive to Amboseli National Park

We will start the day with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru and depart for Amboseli national park.
There shall be stops to view the great rift valley escarpment along the highway as you proceed towards Nairobi

The Park shelters more than 420 species of birds and has enormous Elephant population and other big game attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 5: Explore Amboseli National Park

Full day is spent exploring this park. Amboseli covers lush grasslands and swampland fed by the melting snow of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.

The park is considered one of the top game parks in Africa to get up close to elephants in the wild, as well as offering some of the finest photographic opportunities of wildlife flanked by the scenic Mt Kilimanjaro.

The Game Park also contains huge populations of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos and various antelope species, such as impala.

Amboseli Park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, jackals, warthogs and other wildlife. The park also boasts an abundance of birds, including bee-eaters, kingfishers, pelicans, African fish eagles and falcons.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Drive to Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary

An early departure after breakfast takes you to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It is located in the Coast Province in Taita-Taveta District approximately 195 kilometers from Amboseli.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary hosts cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, masai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of bird life.

After lunch relax then later enjoy a game drive in the sanctuary.

Day 7: Taita Hills Game Sanctuary – Drive to Tsavo East National Park

Proceed for early morning game drive in this private Sanctuary then return to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Tsavo East National park arriving in good time for lunch.  Tsavo East National Park is a natural area of flat, dry plains, with thorny bushes and swampy marshland near the river.

It is teeming with diverse Kenyan animals including large families of giraffes, gazelles, hartebeests and zebras, as well as the “Big Five” must-see animals – buffalo, African elephants, lions, rhinos and leopards.

Enjoy an afternoon game drive, later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa

After breakfast, enjoy the last game drive as you drive out of the Tsavo East National Park. Enjoy Lunch at a scenic spot near Voi town before commencing your return journey to the Mombasa.
