We also call it the big five safaris and it departs daily from Nairobi or Mombasa. You will be met at the Kichwa Tembo Airstrip by your professional guide for the trip.

Whether you are a family or a group of friends, this is a great way to spend a few days out in the bush, encountering herds of Wildebeest, Elephant, and Zebra, or seeking out the region prowling predators.

* Resident rates are for East African Community (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda & Burundi), subject to availability. Residents must book in advance of arrival and pay in full on confirmation. Cancellations will be non-refundable
* Rates exclude Maasai Mara Park Fees (currently 1,200 Kenya Shillings per 24-hour period for East African residents) and a mandatory donation to the Angama Foundation of 10 US Dollars per person per night

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning by air to Maasai Mara, you will then be picked from the airstrip and transferred to the Lodge. Game drive en-route. Arrive at Angama in time for lunch.

Afternoon at leisure followed by an evening game drive.

Dinner and overnight at theAngama Mara Lodge.

Day 2: Explore the Maasai Mara National Reserve

Full day of game viewing. Enjoy the game drives with very high chances of spotting the big five, herds of wildebeests, antelopes, birds, zebras among many other wild animals.

Drive to the Mara River to see where the wildebeest annual migration happens. Enjoy your picnic lunch then head back to the lodge with a game drive en-route.

Enjoy the lodge facilities in the evening followed by a sundowner, a bonfire, and a sumptuous dinner.

Day 3: Maasai Mara – Fly back to Nairobi

Depart for an optional early morning game drive and later return to the lodge for breakfast. You will then be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
