10 Days Kenya Tsavo West Amboseli Nakuru Naivasha Mara Adventure rekindles the imagination associated with thrilling wildlife adventures.

The national parks and game reserves are a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, offering a variety of Kenyan animals.

Tsavo West covers a huge variety of landscapes, from swamps and natural springs to rocky peaks, extinct volcanic cones to rolling plains and sharp reddish outcrops.

The major tourist attractions at Tsavo West National Park include safari tours to see the "Big 5" African animals (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino).

Other animals in the park include giraffe, hippo, cheetah, hartebeest, Hunter's hartebeest, several species of shrew and rat, Grevy's zebra and wild dogs.

Amboseli National Park is Kenya's second most popular national park after the Masai Mara.

Located 160 miles from Nairobi, the park offers a stunning view of both Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird watching paradise, also hosting diverse wildlife, such as rhinos and Rothschild Giraffes.

The Lake Naivasha and its surrounds are rich in natural bounty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions.

Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophloea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination.

Masai Mara widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. The Mara comprises200 sq miles of open plains, woodlands and riverine forest.

The vast grassland plains are scattered with herds of Zebra, Giraffe, Gazelle, and Topi.

Chief among Tsavo West National Park ranks the marvel of Mzima Springs, replenished with two hundred and twenty million liters of crystal-clear water every day, from the underground streams stemming from the lava massif known as the Chyulu Hills, 40-50 kilometers away.

Mzima forms a haven for a rich wildlife pageant with elephant soaking half immersed in the waters, light footed but ponderous looking hippo, apparently weightless, tip-toeing across the bottom.

The crocodiles basking on the bank or swirling through the water; gazelles, zebra and giraffe wandering around the banks through the thick acacias and raffia palms together with hundreds of chattering monkeys and birds.

The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. The sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled.

The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve.

Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Masai people live in peace with one another.

After lunch, explore the Reserve on a late evening ‘Spice’ game drive.

No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected—the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape buffalo are in abundance.

Game viewing is great from the air with the opportunity for beautiful pictures. The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Masai Mara between July and early November.

Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search for fresh green pastures and water.
