Voi Safari Lodge 2 Day Safari covers Tsavo East National Park, Kenya's oldest and largest Game Park that abounds in elephant, buffalo, giraffe and lion. Accommodation is at Voi Safari Lodge. Voi Safari Lodge was the first lodge to build in Tsavo East National Park; Voi Safari Lodge is built on a high outcrop known as Lion Hill overlooking the vast plains.

The Lions have never left at night they can be heard from the immediate slopes beneath the lodge. The rooms are not as luxurious as other lodges due to its age but are adequate. However the general areas restaurant bars shops reception viewing and dining areas and areas are beautiful as are the surrounding gardens which are both frequently visited by Yellow Baboons, Hyrax and flocks of Swallows who have set up home in the lodge itself.

Tsavo East National Park Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Depart Mombasa in the morning driving along the Mombasa/Nairobi Highway entering Tsavo East National Park entering the Park through Bachuma Gate. The Park is noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of game including giraffe, buffalo, zebra and waterbuck. Lunch will be at Voi Safari Lodge. Afternoon game drive follows. Dinner and overnight stay are at Voi Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa

Another early morning game drive in the Park then return to Voi Safari Lodge for late a breakfast. After breakfast enjoy another game drive en route to Mombasa with Lunch included at Lion Hill Zomeni Lodge in Voi After lunch depart by road to Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon. Drop back at your hotel residence.

As you drive back to Mombasa, we encourage you to stop by Kaliangombe Village where African Spice Safaris has an on going community project working with orphaned children. Visit and interact with the cheerful children and see them learn in their small classroom.
