the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in a beautiful area of
rolling plains, acacia forests, swamps and rivers. Sirikoi
Tented Camp is bout 5-hours from Nairobi. By air you
land at Lewa Downs airstrip. The flight takes 50-minutes
from Nairobi Wilson airport, which is served by both
private charter and scheduled flights. Sirikoi is a
15-Minute drive from Lewa Airstrip)

and Operated by Willie and Sue Roberts. Sirikoi is a
spectacular lodge offering the ultimate in luxury and
comfort alongside unrivalled wildlife viewing. Sirikoi
is a spectacular game lodge situated on its own private
estate in the centre of the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
on the northern slopes of Mount Kenya.
Surrounded
by an acacia grove and overlooking a natural waterhole
fed from a mountain spring Sirikoi offers some of the
best game viewing in East Africa. Evening sundowners
with incredible views of distant mountain ranges; delicious
meals served under the stars next to a roaring fire
and the sounds of animals in camp late at night are
just a small part of this magical experience.
A
wide range of activities are offered at Sirikoi
Tented Camp such
as helicopter trips, lion tracking, horseback riding,
and visits to a local Masai homestead. Offering unparalleled

Sirikoi
Tented Camp
was formerly known as Willie’s Camp, this is arguably
one of the finest camps in Kenya. It has been designed
and built with the detail and attention that has come
from years of experience of running tailor-made safaris
in East Africa.
The
style of the camp is in keeping with the unrivalled
hospitality of Sirikoi. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy has
had a pioneering role in conservation; the incredible
array of game is testament to this. The beautiful landscape
varies from rolling hills to the thick Ngere Ndare forest.
As
well as walking and game drives there are horses for
the more adventurous. Sirikoi has its own extensive
vegetable garden supplying the camp’s kitchen,
which produces excellent food.

the Lewa Marathon (normally the last weekend in June),
during the week before and for three days afterwards,
Lewa is very busy and game viewing can be disrupted

Sirikoi
Tented Camp
accommodation is in 4 Luxury Tents and two Traditional
Tents as well as Sirikoi Cottage (a two-bedroom house).
The Luxury Tents are raised off the ground on wooden
platforms with private verandahs looking onto the waterhole.
All
have their own sitting room area where guests can curl
up and read a book in the afternoon whilst watching
the wildlife on the lawn and at the waterhole. The Traditional
Tents are large tents on the ground (no stilts) that
also have wonderful views, and en suite bathrooms with
shower, twin sinks and flushing loos.
Sirikoi
Cottage, tucked away in a secluded area of the camp,
has its own dining & sitting room, small kitchen
and a large deck area overlooking a popular wildlife
waterhole. The Luxury Tents and Cottage bedrooms have
open log fireplaces and en-suite bathrooms with a free-standing
Victorian bathtub and a separate shower.
All
of the rooms are doubles and can be made into twins
or triples. Total Capacity: 16 guests (by special request
with Lewa Wildlife Conservancy the camp is able, on
occasion, to host larger groups up to a maximum of 27
guests).
Guide Tents: 2 large guide tents with double/twin beds
and en-suite bathrooms with showers, twin sinks &
flushing loos.

Sirikoi
is closed throughout May and November for the rains.
Lewa Downs has warm days and cool nights, with daytime
temperatures between 24-28°C. It cools down considerably
at night and we recommend bringing a warm jumper or
wrap for early mornings and evenings.
