Shaanti Retreat is perfect for weddings and honeymooners or those seeking quiet holidays in this child free resort. Children aged 18 and below are not permitted.

Shaanti Retreat/Galu Beach Retreat has 10 sea-facing luxury, air-conditioned, rooms with large bathroom with shower, mini bar, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, and patio overlooking the ocean. Meals can be taken privately on your sea view Terrace.

Shaanti Retreat has been Christened Galu Beach Retreat after undergoing a facelift and the rooms have been refurbished and reopened as an Exclusive Boutique Retreat on an all inclusive meal plan (all meals and drinks are included – drinks also include juices, soft drinks, local beer, local spirits and wines). Clients can have all their meals at their private sea facing terraces at leisure. Whilst Galu Beach Retreat will continue to offer yoga facilities and treatments to its enthusiasts and variety of healthy vegetarian meals, it will also cater for those seeking international cuisine in this peaceful environment.

1. How far are you from Mombasa Airport?

2. Can you book my flight from Nairobi if I book my own international flights?

Yes African Spice Safaris can book your domestic flight from Nairobi.

3. Can I stay at more than one Retreat during my stay?

Yes you can split your holiday between the Retreats and the transfers to and from Shaanti Retreat are complimentary.

4. Are there Minimum Night stays at any of your Retreats?

Shaanti Retreat is the only Resort where you have to stay a minimum of 05 nights.

5. I do not want to stay at any of the Retreats but I would like to stay for 01 night at Sable combined with my other Mombasa Hotel stay? Sable Tree House is a coastal favorite with all Hotels on the south coast included for a night and we offer complimentary transfer from any south coast Hotel to Sable.

6. Do you allow children at any of your Retreats?

We cannot accept children at Sable Tree house due to the nature of the accommodation layout i.e. 1 king size double bed. Children are allowed at Kinondo Retreat during certain months of the year, please enquire with us. No children are allowed at Gazi Bay and The Cove.

7. Do you have water sports facilities at any of your Beach Retreats?

The Cove Retreat does not offer any water sports facilities. Kinondo Retreat offers windsurfing and boogy board surfing from beach and snorkeling from the beach. Gazi Retreat offers windsurfing and boody board surfing from beach and snorkeling trips by boat as well as fishing. For those clients who would like to dive, we offer the facility of driving clients to the nearest dive centre for this activity.
