Mombasa is the second largest city of Kenya and is famous for the Portuguese fortress Fort Jesus, guarding the Old Port and Old Town.

Karibu Class / Standard rooms located in the main building (20 rooms). All rooms with twin beds, mosquito net, shower, WC, individual air-conditioning, telephone, SEVERIN hair dryer, room safe, Wireless-LAN, lounge area, balcony or terrace.

Karibu Class / Standard rooms located in Bungalows (44 rooms). Same facilities as in the main building. In addition, these rooms are equipped with a mini bar and offer king size beds.

Comfort Class rooms

Comfort Class rooms located in bungalows (62 rooms) and main building (52 rooms). Comfort class Rooms are furnished with handmade Lamu style furniture.

All rooms with shower, WC, some with 2 wash basins, individual air-conditioning, mosquito net, some with additional ceiling fan, telephone, mainly with LCD flat screen with satellite TV, SEVERIN hair dryer, coffee/tea making facilities, room safe, mini bar, Wireless-LAN, lounge area, balcony or terrace, fruit basket on arrival.

Severin Sea Lodge welcomes you on board of one of the finest restaurants in Mombasa! The Imani Dhow is a sailing boat built over thirty years ago - a so called Zanzibar Jahazi. In former times it was used for trading between Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, Tangiers and Mombasa.

The Severin Sea Lodge dhow was mainly laden with different goods such as mangrove wood, cotton and corn on the cob. The sailing boat weights about 90 tons and has room on board for a crew of 16. Imani means trust in Swahili language.

Local workmen have converted it into a restaurant for fish and sea water delicacies. Choose from the wonderful menu created by Severin Sea Lodge head cook on board - between lobster, crabs and fresh oysters. For dessert, it is a pleasure to serve you an exotic mousse made from passion fruit. The restaurant is open for dinner.

Set menus and themed buffets await you at the Kisima Restaurant. You will have a varied meal daily. Enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the restaurant while enjoying the fine food and the friendly service. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Located in the shadow of a big flame tree, the "Al Fresco" bistro offers a delicious Italian cuisine, specializing in pizza baked in a stone oven and fine pasta for lunch and dinner. Late riser's breakfast is also served here.
