The adjacent areas, where the Club is located, have excellent game-viewing opportunities, and there are also community ranches where wildlife mingles with cattle ranching. The lodge has got 11 suites and 12 deluxe units, each with separate bathroom, bedroom and verandah, and so guests stay in individual cottage well spaced along the top of the escarpment offering panoramic views.

With the dining experience, it is important to note that most of the meals served at Mpata Safari Club are prepared basing on recipes by Kiyomi Mikuni, a world-renowned chef and even so, the menu at Mpata Club are ever changing because they have got a variety and this by less doubt enhances your stay. A Masai lady gives you a lecture on how to make ornaments using beads at the Club which takes about 3 hours. You can carry them home as souvenirs once completed. Price Per Person : 25 US Dollars

Lake Victoria Fishing Trip
Fly to Lake Victoria for an exciting fishing expedition which takes about 8 hours. Return in the late afternoon with your own catch of the day for dinner. Price Per Person : 500 US Dollars

Mpata Safari Club Game Drives
Mpata Safari Club is placed on top of the Oloololo Escarpment, which is next to the Masai Mara conservation area that is located to the southwest of Kenya near the Tanzanian border. With the club’s land cruiser which has a custom designed roof that opens to enhance guests’ game viewing and photography experience, you can go on early morning and evening game drives twice a day.

Mpata Safari Club evening game drive begins at 3:00pm to around 6:00pm, while the morning game drive begins at 6:00am, before sun rise. Clients then head for the large savannah in Masai Mara, which is sometimes called, “Kingdom of Lions”. It is so rare for the lions to hunt during day, they normally hunt at night, however, you can sometimes see them eating zebra or impala in the morning. Many other animals can be observed and they include; Zebra, Topi, Elephant, Ostrich, Giraffe, Fish Eagle, Vulture, Hyena, Crocodile, Hippopotamus, Thompson’s Gazelle, Buffalo, Warthog and Gnu (wildebeest). You may also wish to take a long game drive that may last a little more than half a day, while trekking many animals. This is allowed, but then you need to leave the club before the time of the day when light first appears and you therefore leave with packed lunch. Mpata Safari Club Game drive Rates:

Masai Mara Park Entry Fees
Masai Mara Game Reserve Park entry fees are charged by the appointed agent of the Mara Conservancy called the Earthview Management Ltd., the sole collector of all revenue within the Mara Triangle. The clerk of the Earthview Management Ltd is stationed at Mpata Safari Club so that Park Entry Fees can be paid at the Club upon arrival. The fees are subject to change without notice.
