Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge a delightful country style holiday resort tucked away in the woods on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya, 7 kilometers North of Naro moru, 15 kilometer south of Nanyuki and less than 1 kilometer from the main road.

The lodge is surrounded by luxuriant gardens with a spacious lawn, and a lake. The tranquil atmosphere and our all-round professional service, promise you a truly memorable stay.

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge appeals more to guests seeking outdoor adventure rather than a 5 star accommodation and is the base hotel for climbing Mount Kenya on the Naru Moru route if you are looking for a relaxing but exciting holiday. Mountain climbing to point Lenana takes 5 days for a physically fit person.

Meals at Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge are buffet and are composed of popular traditional dishes followed by dessert. Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge has 28 rooms falling into either superior or standard room categories. There are 12 Superior double rooms convertible to triples comfortable.

The difference between the standard and Superior rooms is that the Superior rooms have inbuilt fire places useful if you want to lounge in your room during the cold or rainy season. Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge 16 Standard Rooms have 2 singles and 7 doubles.

The remaining Seven Doubles are convertible to either triples or quads. This is good shared accommodation for school/ college groups or budget travelers.

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge Campsite

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge is endowed with a lush lawn which also serve as two separate fully serviced campsite with a shared kitchen and flush toilets and hot/ cold showers.

You can either camp with your own tent or use the lodge tents, bedding's and mattresses.

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge started 15 years back organizing and supporting Mt. Kenya hikers and climbers from the lodge.

Over the years the hotel expanded its operations to include 2 Mountain Huts along the Sirimon Trail (on Mount Kenya) plus a sizable stock of other mountain equipment and crisis management apparatus.

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge guides have a wide experience which enables them provide and organize comprehensive mountain treks and expeditions of any nature, for mountaineers of varied ages, group size and mountain experience.

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge Conference facilities

Mountain Rock Bantu Lodge has a large conference facility where large groups of up to 150 guests can sit comfortably. The Lodge also organize for projectors and other conference essentials. The cool mountain air will keep your head fresh.
