Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge Tanzania

Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge is a beautiful safari lodge situated on Mwamveni Hill, in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti National Park. The lodge offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Serengeti plains and the Mbalageti River, where one of the main attractions is, the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra.

Mbalageti consists of 40 guest rooms in suites, chalets, and standard lodge rooms. The Lodge Rooms (Standard Type) are not Tented but in a block building. The Standard Rooms are more of a budget option. They have an en suite bathroom with a shower and their own veranda.

The Standard Rooms are located approximately 500 meters from the main building, offering Doubles and Twins Rooms. All Lodge Rooms have mineral water, a flashlight, umbrellas, a walking stick, and a whistle.

Tented Chalets – Situated 12 each on either the Sunrise or Sunset side of the hill. They are semi-tented with a back wall of local rock and wooden floor. Decorated with a true ‘ bush theme’, the Tented Chalets are giving your guests a real safari living experience.

All Chalets have both showers and bathtubs. They are located far apart to ensure privacy and exclusivity.  All Chalets have mineral water, bathrobes, flashlight, umbrellas, walking sticks, whistles, binoculars (on request), and safe deposit boxes. The Tented Chalets are in harmony with nature.

Exclusive Family Suites – With a little extra of everything in the wild, the suites offer the most exclusive way of safari living imaginable. The exclusive family suites have 2 bedrooms. One with a king-size bed and one with a twin-bedded solution. The suites are the most luxurious accommodation, with TV Lounge & Dining Area.

Deluxe Luxury Suites – The Delux Suites have everything you need to meet your expectations. The rooms are spacious with sufficient lighting. All Exclusive Suites have mineral water, bathrobes, slippers, flashlight, umbrellas, walking sticks, whistles, binoculars, safe deposit boxes, and satellite TV.

The lodge prides itself on all the modern-day conveniences like a restaurant, pool and deck, spa, bar, lounge, gift shop, and welcome center. A delicious menu is provided, a fusion of local and intercontinental selections.

Activities available from Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge include; exclusive bush breakfast, group bush dinner, sundowner on the plains, nature walk, game drives, Balloon Safaris, etc.

* Children aged 6 – 12 years, sharing with 2 adults pay 50% of the adult rate
* Children aged 6 – 12 years, sharing with -1 Adult – Adult – pay full adult rate & Child – pay 50% of full adult rate
* Children aged 6 – 12 years, occupying their own room – 1st child – pay full adult rate & 2nd child – pay 50% of the full adult rate
