This safari takes you to the most famous reserve in
Kenya. This safari takes you to three of Kenya’s
game sanctuaries– with a different experience
at each. You start off with Maasai Mara, Kenya’s
most famous and finest game sanctuary. The Mara offers
wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is
difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals
have been recorded here.
Then to Amboseli,
which sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro–Africa’s
highest. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic
backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography
enthusiast. You end up at Tsavo West, where you see
elephants, crocodiles, Vervet monkeys, antelope, baboons,
giraffes, hippos and lions. The Park is a marvel in
terms of geo-physical character and plant diversity.

Day
1
Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart by road via the Great Rift Valley
to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Along
the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot,
Mt. Margaret and the pyrethrum plantations. After
lunch a sensational game drive is planned.
The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance
that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species
of animals have been recorded here. You will easily
see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests,
zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs,
buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular
event of the natural world takes place. This is the
annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra
from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and
pasture. Following on their heels are the predators
of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena
and vultures.

Explore Maasai Mara
We spend a full day in the Maasai Mara on morning
and afternoon ‘Spice’ game drives. The
trees in the distance might turn out to be a family
of Giraffes. Those clump of bushes a pride of Lions,
and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your
way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter
a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing
the path in front of you. Large animals are not the
only entertainment – a family of warthogs may
amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will
carry them, until they forget why they are rushing
and stop to regroup.

Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Amboseli National
Park
Rise early to enjoy a delicious breakfast
at your lodge or camp. Depart by road to Amboseli
National Park. The Park shelters more than 420 species
of birds and has enormous Elephant population and
other big game attracted to the area by underground
springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro.
We have lunch in Nairobi Lunch, and enjoy a late afternoon
'spice' game drive en-route to our lodge.

4
Explore Amboseli National Park
This morning we rise early for good views of Mount
Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit,
we set off for a 'Spice' game drive. Amboseli is an
excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including
everything from Wildebeest to Giraffes to Baboons.
A visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast.
Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon
rest, followed by another 'Spice' game drive. Amboseli
is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen. Maasai
warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose
legendary prowess in battle and single–handed
acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are
known across the world.

Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After breakfast, depart via the Sheitani lava flow
for Tsavo West National Park to arrive in time for
lunch at our lodge or Camp .Tsavo West National Park
has elephants, crocodiles, Vervet monkeys, antelope,
baboons, giraffes, hippos and lions etc. The park
is a marvel in terms of geo-physical character and
plant diversity. Mzima Springs, the source of Mombasa’s
water, is located here. These springs are recharged
daily with hundreds of millions of liters of crystal
clear water by underground streams emanating from
Chyulu Hills. At Mzima, all sorts of animals gather
for a drink particularly in the dry season. You may
also be able to view hippo and crocodiles from the
underwater glass tank.

Tsavo West – Nairobi
Today we enjoy an early morning game
drive. After breakfast, return by road to Nairobi
