The name Mamba is Swahili for Crocodile! Our Nairobi Mamba village crocodile farm tour takes you to the Nairobi Mamba Village resort situated 13 km away from the city centre. The farm is located off the Langata – Karen road in Nairobi. The Nairobi Mamba Village is East Africa’s largest crocodile farm and thus, an unmissable tourist attraction in Kenya.

Resting on over 30 acres of land, the farm has around 70 Nile crocodiles that are known to be the largest of the crocodile species and the most dangerous. There are five crocodile pens on the farm.  Here you get to see crocodiles, ostriches, giraffes, and even rabbits. Nile crocodiles

During our Nairobi Mamba village crocodile farm tour, your guide will enlighten you about the crocodile life cycle and behavior while you view live crocodiles of every size, from hatchlings to fully-grown adults.

You will be able to pick up the little crocodiles and also watch a spectacular scene of blood-thirsty crocodiles fighting for food during feeding time which happens every Sunday at 1500 Hours.

Feeding time is the best thing about this place. It’s thrilling to see them jump up in the air to snap the meat. Be aware that the crocodile food does stink, as they are fed on rotten meat.

Located on Karen road, just a few meters from Galleria Shopping Mall, the resort is a perfect getaway especially for guests who are bound to enjoy the boat rides, viewing the crocodiles, feeding the ostriches, and other various activities.

Other interesting activities include camel and horse ride. You will enjoy a guided tour around the man-made lake where the boat rides occur.

You can also feed the few giraffes within the village. Mamba Village Nairobi has several restaurants and bandas for tasty meals and refreshments.
