Sarova Lion Hill Lodge; Lake Nakuru Lion Hill Lodge is located in the heart of the Great African Rift Valley, on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of East Africa's most famous soda lakes. The lodge setting, overlooking the lake, offers a unique vantage point. Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary to the greatly endangered Black Rhino, Colobus monkeys keep you busy with their mind games, and the park is home to plenty of other game including Zebras and waterbucks. Nowhere else will you get a photo of a rhino backed by a mirage of soft pink flamingos sifting food from the shimmering soda lake. It's a spectacle to behold!

Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is 160 km's from Nairobi approximately a two hours drive or 30 minutes by air followed by a 30 minute transfer to lodge.

Road Safari Itinerary from Nairobi (3 Days / 2 Nights)

Departing Nairobi daily. Price includes Park entry fees. Transfers and game drives are in 7 seater minibus with roof-hatches and an experienced driver-guide. Lake Nakuru is home to a million flamingoes and a wide variety of other birdlife as well as many animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, impala, warthog, white rhino and the endangered black rhino. Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is set high above the Lake with beautiful views over the National Park and is surrounded by attractive landscaped gardens.

Day 1	Depart from Nairobi at 2 pm and drive by minibus to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the late afternoon to stay 2 nights at Lion Hill Lodge with views across the lake. You will take an evening game drive to see the huge numbers of flamingo which are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the birdlife for which Nakuru is so well known there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck.
Day 2	An early morning game drive before breakfast to try to find leopard which are frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park and return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will take a further drive to seek out the 2 species of rhino found in the park, returning before lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, relaxing by the lodge swimming pool before an evening game drive in the park.
Day 3	Early morning game drive and after breakfast transfer by road back to Nairobi.
