Sarova Lion Hill Lodge Flying Safari 3 Days 2 Nights is an air holiday package to Lake Nakuru National Park. Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is located in the heart of the Great African Rift Valley, on the shores of Lake Nakuru, one of East Africa’s most famous soda lakes. The lodge setting, overlooking the lake, offers a unique vantage point.
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge is 160 km from Nairobi approximately a two hours drive or 30 minutes by air followed by a 30-minute transfer to the lodge. The Naishi airstrip services the park for tourism and Kenya wildlife service activities.
Lake Nakuru is also a sanctuary to the greatly endangered Black Rhino, Colobus monkeys keep you busy with their mind games, and the park is home to plenty of other games including Zebras and waterbucks.
Nowhere else will you get a photo of a rhino backed by a mirage of soft pink flamingos sifting food from the shimmering soda lake. It’s a spectacle to behold!
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge has a swimming pool, sauna, laundry service, and curio and gift shop. Boasting over 400 bird species, Lake Nakuru Park sets the stage for a definitely incredible time at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

Day 1: Nairobi – Fly to Lake Nakuru National Park
0800 Hours: After breakfast, we transfer you to Wilson airport for your flight to Lake Nakuru National Park. We take our private charter flight to Lake Nakuru National Park. The flying time from Nairobi to Nakuru is 40 minutes.
Flying is a safer way to travel and also means you do not waste half a day driving from one park to another and so you have more time for game-viewing. Upon arrival at Naishi airstrip in the park, we are met by a driver guide from Sarova Lion Hill Lodge vehicle with a 4×4 safari vehicle and proceed on a game drive en route to the lodge.
Lake Nakuru’s major attractions include Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total. There are over 56 different species including white rhinos, waterbuck, etc.
1300 Hours: Later we check in at the lodge and lunch follows. After lunch will enjoy an evening game drive to see the huge numbers of flamingos which are concentrated along the lakeshore.
In addition to the birdlife for which Nakuru is so well known there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala, and waterbuck.

Day 2: Explore Lake Nakuru, National Park
0600 Hours: An early morning game drive before breakfast to try to find a leopard that is frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park and return to the lodge for breakfast.
1000 Hours: After breakfast you will take a further drive to seek out the 2 species of rhino found in the park, returning before lunch. The afternoon is at leisure, relaxing by the lodge swimming pool before an evening game drive in the park.
We shall also visit other attractions inside the park if time permits such as view-points: Lion hill, Baboon cliff and Out of Africa, Hills: Enasoit, Honeymoon, Lion hill ridge and the Makalia Waterfalls.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Fly to Nairobi
