Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a small luxurious Tented
Camp set on the equator overlooking a waterhole in
the centre of the 110,000-Acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy,
which lies on the Laikipia Plains, 217 Kilometers
from Nairobi and 14 Kilometers from Nanyuki Town.
Transfers by road from Nairobi take approximately
3.5 hours. Kicheche Laikipia Camp is a small luxurious
tented camp, which stands on the Laikipia Ol Pejeta
Conservancy. The camp is surrounded by indigenous
forest and overlooks a waterhole.

Laikipia Camp has six custom-built luxury tents, there
is also a central dining tent and safari lounge. Its
twelve guests are hosted by the inimitable Andy and
Sonja Webb. Kicheche Laikipia Camp tents are custom
designed and are fully insect-proof with en-suite
bathrooms equipped with a dresser, flushing toilet
and hot showers. There are comfortable chairs on each
verandah overlooking the waterhole. One tent can be
converted into a triple on request. There is a spacious
well furnished lounge and dining tent, although guests
prefer to eat alfresco if weather permits.

Safari Itinerary from Nairobi
(3 Days / 2 Nights)
Day
1: Nairobi fly to Nanyuki
Fly
from Nairobi Wilson Airport straight into Nanyuki Airstrip
in Laikipia (50 minutes). On arrival you will be transferred
to Kicheche Laikipia Tented camp. Evening game drive
for a first view of the wildlife species for which Olpejeta
Conservancy is famous.
Day
2: Discover Sweetwaters Game Reserve
A
full day in the Olpejeta Conservancy with morning game
drive followed by lunch at Kicheche Laikipia Tented
camp and then evening game drive.
Day
3: Sweetwaters fly to Nairobi
An
early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then
transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport,
Nairobi.
