2 – Day 4
Tsavo West National Park
Set off for your five-day safari to Tsavo West and
Tsavo East National Parks. Traveling by road, you
will start your safari at Finch Hattons Safari Camp
in Tsavo West. Denys Finch-Hatton was famous for
his luxurious game safaris; he would certainly be
happy to see his name applied to this camp! Large,
airy tents outfitted with hot showers, comfortable
beds, mini-bars and your own private verandahs are
just the start of this experience! The clubhouse
provides all the old-fashioned luxuries, from personal,
attentive service, to fine linen and crystal glasses
under huge chandeliers; this is real safari style!
Superb five-course meals are a gourmet's delight,
from the lightest consommé to delicious sorbets!
Game
drives provide you with close-up views of the stunning
wildlife, from elephant to giraffe, from dik-dik
and lion to genet cats and ostrich. In between game
drives, relax in the swimming pool during the noonday
heat, or enjoy the frolicking hippos viewed from
the shade of your tent verandah.

Day 6
Tsavo
East National Park
Leave
Tsavo West to travel to Galdessa Camp on the banks
of the Galana River in Tsavo East National Park.
A small, personal, luxurious camp, Galdessa offers
all the comforts of a top class hotel in the depths
of the African savannah! Built entirely from local
materials, Galdessa blends into the landscape; elephant
and buffalo wander by, heedless of your presence.
Combining the comforts of the western world with
the untamed wilderness of Africa, Galdessa offers
the best of both worlds to those lucky enough to
visit!
Galdessa
is also closely involved with the nearby Kenya Wildlife
Service Rhino Sanctuary, and you have an excellent
chance of viewing this extraordinary and rare animal
here.

by road to Nairobi to catch your flight to Malindi
on the Kenyan Coast. A short twenty-minute drive
from Malindi airport is the Watamu National Marine

sunshine, snorkeling and lazy, tropical days while
the attentive staff and superb chefs ensure your
holiday enjoyment. For the more active, the deep-sea
fishing is superb! With world class skippers and
well-trained crews, Hemingways consistently tops
the big game fish charts while practicing tag and
release systems whenever possible.
If
exploring the local area is more your style, the
variety of excursions offered by Watamu is stunning.
With the Marine National Park on your doorstep,
