Nairobi Hilton is located in the central business
and shopping area of Nairobi, well situated for access
to the Nairobi National Park, the Great Rift Valley
and other places of interest. The hotel is situated
18 km from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. There
are 302 rooms each having an en suite bathroom with
bath and shower, air-conditioning, safe, TV, telephone,
mini bar and hairdryer. The public facilities include
four restaurants, a pub, a coffee shop, a hair and
beauty salon, an outdoor heated swimming pool and
a health club with a gymnasium, jacuzzi, sauna and
steam bath.
The hotel also offers massage therapy. The ballroom
and meeting rooms can host up to 500 people
and a wide range of conference facilities and
business service centre are available.
Being situated in the heart of Nairobi, the Nairobi
Hilton can arrange, at additional cost, excursions
to places of interest. These include access to the
Royal Nairobi Golf Club and visits to the National
Reserves, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum,
the giraffe Park and Snake Park and to a variety of
shops.
Jockey Pub - The Jockey pub is set
in a warm and relaxing atmosphere with its exclusive
timberwork and live duo band on weekDays. Famous for
it's delicious pub food.
Pool Restaurant - Located at the
pool level with a fresh and airy atmosphere. A full
lunch menu and snacks are available. Famous for it's
Sunday lunch barbeques.
Cafe Americain - A whole range of
delicious coffees, pastries and light snacks served
throughout the day and evening. It has relaxed and
friendly atmosphere and is located at the lobby level
and convenient for a short break or meeting.
La Patisserie - The best selection
of 3, 4 and 5 tier cakes or simple cakes. Pastries,
sandwiches. Ideal for take-away and hot meals at lunchtime.
Residents Lounge - Exclusively for
hotel guests. Bar and snacks available, a perfect
place for relaxation and private meetings.
Travelers
Restaurant - Offers a la carte and
buffet meals. Consists of very distinct eating
areas, mainly the brasserie, a bright place
with a sumptuous mix of Far Eastern, Mediterranean
and Continental dishes. The Travelers restaurant
has different decorations at each outlet, giving
the impression of different parts of the world.
