Gazi Retreat is set on the remote and unspoilt beach of Gazi Bay, this extraordinary resort will offer you a holiday with a difference that will inspire you. Gazi Retreat tented accommodation consists of 10 luxury lodge tents – set in the tropical and palm tree lined gardens on Gazi Beach. Each luxury permanent tent offers an air-conditioned, 4 poster bedroom; separate Swahili style lounge area with mini bar and en-suite bathroom with romantic shower. With a hint of safarfeel, these private lodges offer a sense of heightened sultry romance on the beach.

Gazi Retreat swimming pool is located a short distance from the tents within the tropical gardens with drinks service available from the butler. The Swahili bar and sun deck are located adjacent to Gazi Beach, ideal for sun worshipping while sipping a sumptuous cocktail. The open plan Swahili restaurant serving snack lunches and buffet dinners overlooks the beach. With the cool evening breeze, it is an ideal setting for a romantic dinner.

Gazi Retreat tented lodge facilities include an aromatherapy massage salon, water sports and deep sea fishing centre, along with nature tours such as our very own eco trip into the enchanting mangroves. The 12 Bedouin-style tents overlook the swimming pool and provide the perfect place to relax and recharge. Each tent has air-conditioning in the bedrooms, en suite facilities and a separate lounge area.   There is no shortage of things to do at Gazi Retreat. A range of aquatic activities is on offer, including deep-sea fishing, diving, and snorkeling. Enjoy a visit to the nearby Mangrove Boardwalk, an initiative undertaken by the local villagers.

There is also the option of spending a morning in Shimba Hills, the price off which includes transportation, a 2 hour game drive and a visit to Sheldricks Falls. Alternatively, laze on the unspoilt private beach while sipping on a colourful drink from the bar.
