Flamingo Hill Tented Camp Lake Nakuru is a superb lodge tucked away barely 2 km from the main entrance of Lake Nakuru National Park which lies within the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. The hotel is 9 km from Nakuru town and approximately 30 minutes by air or 3 hours by road from Nairobi. This camp is accessed through the main gate and offers 25 tents in total, all with four poster beds and mosquito nets.

Flamingo Hill Tented Camp accommodations include 6 double tents and 19 twin tents. Activities include Guided nature walks, Bird watching, Picnic lunches, Bush breakfasts and sundowners with full safari bars and canapes, and game drives to the Lake Nakuru National Park.  Popular attractions in Lake Nakuru include Makalia Falls, Baboon Cliff lookout, Out of Africa Lookout, and Lake Nakuru Pink Flamingos.

Flamingo Hill Tented Camp Lake Nakuru is situated within the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley. The camp is approximately 160 km Northwest of Nairobi 

The drive takes approximately 2 hours from Nairobi. By Air, the camp is approximately 30 Minutes from Nairobi and you land at the Naishi Airstrip. Transfer to Flamingo Hill Camp from the Airstrip takes only 15 Minutes. Nearby are the lakes of Elementaita, Naivasha, and Bogoria.

Nestled between the “honeymoon hills”, and set in beautifully landscaped grounds with natural foliage and a variety of indigenous African plants and flowers, Flamingo Hill Camp provides superb, tented accommodation.

There are 25 Small and exclusive tents decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton. Each tent is tastefully fitted with 4 poster beds, a work desk, and a private verandah overlooking the plains. The bathrooms are en-suite with a shower and flush toilet.

The tents are furnished with the understated luxury required by the modern traveler. Decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron, and crisp cotton each tent has been meticulously planned to maximize comfort.

Flamingo Hill Camp restaurant seats approximately 80 guests comfortably and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a mix of table d’hôte or buffet style.

The bar is well stocked with local as well as imported beverages. Guests enjoy cocktails whilst relaxing in our comfortable and open Lounge with a view of the plains. In the evening guests socialize around a cozy fire evening or they can simply get comfortable with a book from Flamingo Hill Camp’s Library.

Flamingo Hill Tented Camp Lake Nakuru has a Jacuzzi and massage area where guests can relax and rejuvenate their bodies. There is an outdoor pool where guests can take a dip and unwind.
