ya Kanzi; Campi ya Kanzi is a small
privately owned and run safari lodge located
within a 400-square-mile (250,000-acre) Masai
Private Ranch in southern Kenya next to Amboseli
National Park and bordering Tsavo West and
Chyulu National Parks. Campi Ya Kanzi, owned
and run by Luca and Antonella Belpietro, is
a cozy, chic tented lodge perched in the rolling
Chyulu Hills overlooking the plains towards
the snowy top of Kilimanjaro.
Campi
ya Kanzi means "Camp of the Hidden Treasures"
in Kiswahili. For you, it means "safari
in style" at a luxury tented safari camp.
Situated at the foot of the legendary Chyulu
Hills, the Green Hills of Africa, offering
an incomparable combination of 5-star luxury,
first class wilderness adventure, and authentic
immersion in Masai culture. This is truly
the ultimate African safari.
Campi
ya Kanzi has six luxurious tents and two larger
suites, all built on wooden decks. Each one
has a private verandah from which guests have
superb views of Kilimanjaro and the Tsavo
Hills. The accommodation is built from locally
sourced materials including stone and wood,
with tented walls under a thatch roof. All
the bathrooms are en-suite, with full sized
baths, hot and cold running water, flush loos,
and showers. Campi ya Kanzi elegant bathroom
fittings are all made from brass, and the
bed linen is made from finest quality Italian
cotton. There is also a large private house
which sleeps ten guests, and has its own infinity
pool and Jacuzzi with views of Kilimanjaro.

ya Kanzi has several optional activities available
including game drives in open Land Rover,
escorted Nature walks, dine in the bush for
either breakfast, lunch or dinner, cave dining,
studying the lion population of the Private
Ranch for a week, botanical safaris with a
Maasai tracker, visit a Masai village, sundowners
(aperitives at sunset with a Masai elder,
Safaris to Tsavo National Park, where Mzima
spring is home to tens of hippo and crocodiles,
Kilimanjaro scenic flight inclusive of a bush
champagne breakfast, Flying Safaris to Tsavo
National Park or Chyulu Hills, Flying Safaris
to Amboseli National Park for a game drive
and Fly camping alongside a river or in the
plains in front of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

(260 km away), through Mtito Andei Gate
or from Mombasa (250km away) through Tsavo
