Day 1: Nairobi Fly to Amboseli National Park

Day 1: Nairobi Fly to Amboseli National Park

0630: This morning after breakfast at your hotel/ residence in Nairobi we transfer to Wilson Airport for our scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park.

0730 Hours: Fly to Amboseli Airstrip located inside Amboseli National Park.

0805 Hours: Upon landing, you will be met by our professional safari driver guide and proceed for a morning game drive looking out for elephants, buffalo, impala, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebra, and wildebeest among other African animals. There is also a host of large and small birds to see if you keep your eyes open and stop at every sighting.

1230 Hours: We arrive at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for lunch. Later we settle in to relax and explore Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

1500 Hours: We enjoy a cup of tea/ coffee or hot chocolate with homemade biscuits/ cake as we prepare for the afternoon game drive.

1530 Hours: Embark on the afternoon game drive.  Amboseli National Park is known for its large herd of over 900 free-ranging elephants. Enjoy the views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and visit the observation Hill, which overlooks the park, swamps, and, of course, the herds of free-roaming elephants.

Later we meet the Masai people and learn about the Masai culture and their indigenous lifestyle.

1830 Hours: Return to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

0630 Hours: Enjoy a full English breakfast at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

0815 Hours: Our flight departs for Nairobi.

0850 Hours: Approximate arrival time in Nairobi Wilson Airport. Transfer you to your hotel/ residence.
