This 3-Day Safari to Oltukai Lodge in Amboseli offers you world-class game viewing in one of the best Kenyan game parks – Amboseli National Park. Located about 270 km South East of Nairobi and close to the Tanzanian border, it is flanked by Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is a compact game park, abundant in wildlife, which makes for some excellent game viewing.

This safari begins and ends in Nairobi. Leaving the bustling city of Nairobi, we travel south to Amboseli National Park, located near the border with Tanzania. We arrive at Amboseli Oltukai Lodge inside Amboseli Park, in time for lunch.

After lunch at the lodge, we take an afternoon game drive in the beautiful Amboseli National Park. Then we have dinner and overnight at the luxurious Amboseli Oltukai Lodge. The second day is set aside for a full day of game viewing in Amboseli game park. We explore this scenic game park on morning and afternoon game drives and have the option of visiting a Maasai village (at an extra cost).

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular game parks in Kenya. Amboseli Park covers sprawling grasslands and the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Standing at 5896m above sea level the snow-topped mountain forms the backdrop to game viewing in Amboseli.

The park hosts some of Kenya’s largest elephant herds and is famous for its big elephant bulls with their impressive tusks. Amboseli is considered one of the top game parks in Africa to get up close to elephants in the wild, as well as offering some of the finest photographic opportunities of wildlife flanked by the scenic Mt Kilimanjaro.

The park is home to also huge populations of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species, such as impala, lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and many other species of plains game. The park also boasts an abundance of birds, including bee-eaters, kingfishers, pelicans, African fish eagles, and falcons.

We return to Oltukai lodge for a night under starry skies. Enjoy meals and another overnight stay at the private luxury safari lodge, with beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

On day three, we have breakfast then head back to the chaotic city of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, arriving at about 1600 hours in the afternoon. This 3-Day Luxury Oltukai Lodge Safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli National Park (a 4-hour journey of 102 miles), arriving at Amboseli Ol Tukai Lodge before lunch. Following afternoon tea, you will enjoy an evening game drive for a first view of the wildlife species for which the Amboseli is famous.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. The Game Park also contains huge populations of buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species, such as impala.

Amboseli National Park is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and many other species of plains game. The park also boasts an abundance of birds, including bee-eaters, kingfishers, pelicans, African fish eagles, and falcons.

Breakfast at Oltukai Lodge then visit a Masai Village (at an Extra Cost) or relax at the Lodge. After lunch enjoy some more leisure time before the evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi

An early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then we head back to the chaotic city of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, arriving at about 1600 hours in the afternoon. This safari ends upon arrival back in Nairobi.
