3 Days/ 2 Nights Taita Hills & Tsavo West National Park Safari departs daily by road from Mombasa to Taita Hills private game sanctuary. Here you get to enjoy a mid morning game drive followed by lunch at your hotel.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It is located in the Coast Province in Taita-Taveta District approximately 220 kilometers from Mombasa.

The sanctuary has two lodges, the Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge and the Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge. A late afternoon game drive is scheduled to explore the sanctuary. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Taita Hills Lodge or similar.

On the second day of your safari, you get to enjoy an early morning game drive, then breakfast and after you drive to West National Park with game drive en-route. After lunch, enjoy a short siesta. Afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and Overnight at Severin Safari Camp, Serena Kilaguni Lodge or Similar.

Tsavo West National Park is a popular destination on account of its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs, rich and varied wildlife, good road system, rhino reserve, rock climbing potential and guided walks along the Tsavo River. Animals include: Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dogs, Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine. There is prolific birdlife with over 450 species.

On the last day of your safari, you enjoy an early morning extended game drive in Tsavo West. After breakfast, continue with the mid-morning game drive in the park until lunch at the Camp/ Lodge. After lunch depart back to Mombasa arriving in the early evening. Transfer and drop off at your Beach Hotel.

Day 1: Mombasa – Drive to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary
In the morning you will be picked from your Beach Hotel and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. Have lunch on arrival at Taita Hills Lodge. After lunch, game drive in the sanctuary until sunset, and chances are good to see lions as well. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge. Salt Lick Lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure.

A complex of rondavels sits on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-storey towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind - you can see animals in all directions because it offers spectacular open views.

Day 2: Taita Hills Sanctuary – Drive to Tsavo West National Park
Have an early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, continue with the mid-morning game drive in the sanctuary with lunch at Taita Hills Lodge.

Depart after lunch to Tsavo West National Park. The Park offers tremendous views with diverse habitats, ranging from mountains, river forest, plains, lakes and wooded grassland. Its plains borders with Tanzania.

Have your afternoon game drive en-route to Serena Kilaguni Lodge. Kilaguni Lodge is situated in the centre of Tsavo West National Park with view to the Chyulu Hills and the snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro.

The main building provides a unique view to the water hole, which attracts zebra, buffalo, elephants, antelope, warthog, and many more. Each room has a view to the water hole or the Kilimanjaro. After lunch game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Serena Kilaguni Lodge.
