This morning you drive past Thika, an industrial
town surrounded by extensive pineapple plantations,
partially owned by Delmonte Company. After
crossing the Tana River source of Kenya’s
hydroelectric power, the landscape changes
and becomes lush as you climb in to the rich
farmlands of the Kikuyu people. .

SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Samburu Game Reserve
is where the survivor series film was documented.
It is also where a lioness has been known
to adopt a baby Oryx antelope and where George
and Joy Adamson lived (of the movie Born free).Here
you find some special animals which virtually
only live here. The Grevy’s Zebra, Rothschild
Giraffe, Somali Ostrich and Vulturine Guinea
Hen are the specialties of Samburu.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park after
breakfast at your hotel arriving at the Lake
Nakuru Lodge/Lake Nakuru Lion hill in time
for lunch. After lunch, proceed on a ‘Spice’
Game Drive. The Park is a home to stunning
flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos, which
literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent
pink stretch.

This morning after
an early breakfast you will depart by road
with your guide for the legendary land of
the Man-eaters - Tsavo. A diverse and vast
park with altitudes ranging from 500 - 6000
feet, and an area of 9,065 sq. kms, this wilderness
supports large numbers of game including elephant,
rhino, lion, huge herds of buffalo, giraffe
and a variety of plains game to name a few.
